Udaipur

Built around Lake Pichola, Udaipur is perhaps most famous for its palace in the middle of the lake (Lake Palace Hotel).

 

 

It is a quaint town with cobble stone streets, plentiful local bazaars, marble palaces, lakeside gardens, temples and havelis. A sunset cruise on the lake with a stop at Jag Mandir, will top off your visit.
