"the trip was absolutely FABULOUS! We just loved it -- everything was just great. From my times working with you via email and phone, through the agencies and staff in Dubai and India, the arrangements were beautifully handled. I was expecting a lot from this trip, and it not only delivered, but it surpassed our expectations. My sincere thank you, thank you, thank you -- what a super job you did! (And please feel free to use anything from this letter as a happy endorsement of your services, if you want to include any "raves" in any Spirit of India promotionall material!)

(As a measure of how good this trip was, it took 56 hours to travel home (from Varanasi to Delhi to Dubai to JFK-New York to Boston), including an overnight spent in JFK when all flights were cancelled & we couldn't get home till the next morning --- and STILL, we both felt it was so well worth doing and we'd do it again in a heartbeat!)

Your choice of hotels was superb, we loved them all. We were given several upgrades, which was a nice surprise! But even "standard" accomodations were great. (The main agency in Delhi had apparently called the hotels and requested upgrades, where possible.)

Our guides all over were very good, as were our drivers. Our main driver, Vijay Singh, who was with us for 2 weeks, was truly excellent. A skilled and careful driver, but also a wonderful and thoughtful person, and we really enjoyed spending time with him and getting to know him. Personnel from all the local agencies were also very reliable and helpful, always meeting us at the hotel and taking care of check-in." Deb Kalikow 2007

"Allan and I bless you every single day on our adventure to India. You are simply amazing....everything has been absolutely perfect. We are having the time of our lives. The guides....particularly Dilip (also Manu and Amerish)....and of course our wonderful driver, Manoj, have been absolutely splendid (and patient). What an incredible surprise to be installed in room 104 at the Laxmi Niwas Palace Hotel in Bikaner....do you know the room? If not, I have photographs....I will be dreaming of this fantastic place for many years.

I could go on and on telling you of fabulous meals, marvelous sights....and of course, the shopping.....I think that Allan will go mad soon with all of my running around....I do not want to miss a thing, but he is quite patient. Each day, we are on the go from morning 'til night.

We will be off in the morning from Jaiselmer to Jodhpur and look forward to our camel ride....will it compete with the elephant ride of a few days ago?

"Wanted to let you know that we had a fantastic trip. Thank you very much. The travel staff in India were superb. We were totally amazed that with as much moving around as we did there was never a missed connection. And everyone was unfalilingly polite and accommodating. Rajinder, who picked us up in Delhi, called us several times during the trip to make sure everything was working out. He also did some extra duty, trying to help Cynthia get the clothes she had ordered. They never arrived. We learned the last day we were in country that there had been a manufacturing delay. So we cancelled the order.

Vijay was a wonderful driver and person who really helped to make the Rajasthan part of the trip nicer. He asked us to send his best wishes along to you.

The Raheem Residency was as excellent as you assured us it would be. Bibi (sp?) was gracious and helpful. We did consult with the ayurvedic doctor and are following up with his treatments (He told me that if I followed his advice, my "mind will be shining in 60 days." I think I may be beyond help.).

The highlights of the trip for me were walking along the Ganges in Varanasi, Ellora and the time around Alleppy (Raheem and backwaters). We would like to go back to Kerala some day and see the rest of it.

" Harvey and I just returned last night from India, and I wanted to let you know right away how very much we enjoyed it and what a special trip it turned out to be.
All the logistics worked out perfectly. Everything went off like clockwork, with all the transfers handled beautifully, and the sightseeing excursions were great, too. The drivers and guides were all capable and knowledgeable and some were really exceptional. Since we packed a lot into the time we were there, it could all have become a messy jumble, but the people who took us around were so good that we felt we learned a lot and gained a good understanding of the (many) fascinating places we saw. Some of the experiences we had were especially meaningful, like the evening aarti on the Ganges and our extended rickshaw ride in Delhi, where we saw the Spice Market and the Wedding Market in addition to the usual streets.

"It was a great trip! Nepal was absolutely incredible! We lived like kings and queens and Royal Mountain Trekking went above and beyond the call of duty to meet our wishes! Our guide, Rajesh Thapa was fantastic. He not only introduced us to Nepal but also welcomed us into his family. The three of us were invited over to Rajesh's home where we treated to a Nepalese dinner and met his mother, father, sister and nephew. Our one-week in Nepal was not nearly enough. The lodges and hotels were all great, especially the one in Nagarkot. Everywhere we went we had a great time and no one got sick! All in all it was the trip of a lifetime!
